Yes. Independent assessments can be commissioned at any stage, including during the statutory needs assessment process. Reports are written with Sections B and F in mind, so recommendations can be transferred directly into the plan as it is drafted.

Timescales are agreed at the point of enquiry, and capacity is often available where NHS or in-house services cannot meet statutory deadlines. If you are working to an annual review date or tribunal deadline, mention this when you get in touch and it will be factored into scheduling.

Wherever the child or young person is based - school, alternative provision, a specialist unit, or the family home. This is particularly useful for children who are between placements or receiving home tuition, as provision does not depend on them attending a clinic.

Yes. Reports are independent and evidence based. A direct request for a tribunal report must be submitted because there is specific guidance for experts which must be followed and adhered to.
